The CHARTA DER VIELFALT - For more diversity in the world of work

We have signed the CHARTA DER VIELFALT. We are very pleased to now be part of the largest diversity network in Germany and to promote and shape diversity, together with our employees.

On this page, you will learn something about the concept and the goals of the Charta, why we are part of this initiative and what values and ideas we as a company are committed to. 

That is the CHARTA DER VIELFALT

The CHARTA DER VIELFALT is an employer initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions. The goal of the initiative is to advance the recognition, appreciation, and inclusion of diversity in the world of work in Germany. Organizations should create a work environment that is free of prejudice.

The CHARTA DER VIELFALT was created in 2006 by three companies that have come together to establish and live the idea of diversity in their organizations.  Finally, in 2010, the CHARTA DER VIELFALT Association was founded.

The initiative is under the patronage of the German Chancellor and is supported by the State Ministry for Migration, Refugees, and Integration.

Dimensions of diversity

The important internal dimensions of diversity, which are the focus of this initiative are

  • ethnic origin and nationality
  • age
  • gender and gender identity
  • disability
  • sexual orientation and identity
  • religion and belief

Numerous external and flexible factors are also taken into account in this concept.

This commitment also includes concern and endeavors to treat the environment and the resources necessary for the existence of this world with respect. Our actions as a company and entrepreneur are based on the endeavor to leave the world and the earth to the generations to come as a world worth living in, to refrain from overexploitation and to do what we can to counteract undesirable developments in these areas.

The implementation of the goals of the CHARTA DER VIELFALT inside our company is pursued on several levels. The basis is the recognition and promotion of the diverse potential of our employees, so that they experience an unbiased assessment, regardless of gender or gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation, and identity.
